Jennifer Davenport, MD, MHA, FSCAI, FACC, is a well-versed pediatric cardiologist who diagnoses and treats patients at Presbyterian Medical Group, where she serves as Medical Director of Congenital Cardiology in Albuquerque, NM. She has previously worked at Pediatrix Cardiology Associates of New Mexico in Albuquerque, NM, where she acted as Director of Interventional Cardiology, Medical Director, and Coordinator of Adult Congenital Heart Disease Clinic at Pediarix. As a pediatric cardiologist, she has dedicated training and experience in the management of heart problems in children. Dr. Davenport has an impressive professional journey that spans twelve years and her expertise covers treating neonatal, infant, pediatric, and adult patients with congenital heart disease. Jennifer Davenport, MD, MHA, FSCAI, FACC, attended the University of Kansas School of Medicine and received her medical degree in 2001. Furthermore, she conducted her residency in pediatrics at Miami Children’s Hospital in Miami, FL (2001-2004). In addition, she completed a fellowship in pediatric cardiology at the Texas Children’s Hospital/Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX (2004-2007), followed by a second fellowship in pediatric interventional cardiology completed at the University of California, San Francisco (2007-2008). Dr. Davenport received board certification in pediatrics and pediatric cardiology from the American Board of Pediatrics. She also holds a Master of Healthcare Administration degree acquired at the University of Michigan School of Public Health in Ann Arbor, MI (2017) and a Bachelor of General Studies degree in Biology and Microbiology received at the University of Kansas (1997). Dr. Davenport dedicates her spare time to endurance sports, and, as such, she has completed over 20 marathons and triathlons. She enjoys the wilderness with her husband and two huskies.
